I've certainly made my share of excuses when it comes to stepping out, but each time I've chosen to step in faith I have been blessed and enriched. I know it pleases God to see people overcome their fears and answer His call. He has a plan and wants to include us all in accomplishing it!

Writing "Fearful To Fearless" is something that has been on my heart for more than ten years. Looking for something to pick up when you need to hear a short word from God in the area of fear and worry, I've actually been waiting for someone else to write it. I recall hearing that there were 365 "fear nots" in the bible, one for every day of the year, it was even mentioned in the movie "Facing the Giants" but I've never found anything written or assembled this way.

Upon leaving the corporate world I felt lead to take on the project myself. "Fearful To Fearless" represents about 15 months of research, study and preparation. A number of bible translations and commentaries were utilized in identifying the scripture passages relating to fear, worry and the fear of God. I prayed about what each passage had to say in order to uncover a concise biblical truth that put the passage in context for me. In the end almost 400 scripture references were identified.

Previously I've written a number of articles that have appeared in different technical journals and books. "Fearful To Fearless" marks my first work in this literary arena. I enjoy a passion for photography, especially for landscapes and wildlife that illustrates and reflects the glory of God. Chris and I have been married for 35 years, we have two sons and currently reside in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
