Indigo Ocean

Author Indigo Ocean is the former host of the top-rated talk radio show "Together in Spirit" - with guests including Byron Katie, A.H. Almaas, and James Twyman - and the founder of the Phone Buddies peer counseling community, CAIR Kids, and the Aspiratech online business technology firm.

With a focus on service since her teen years, Indigo has served on the board of directors or advisers for numerous non-profit organizations, including Future Leaders Institute. She holds a Master's Degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the CA Institute of Integral Studies and attained her B.A. from Brown University. She has applied her MA degree training in a variety of settings, from working as a Behavioral Health Specialist for the state of Hawaii, to teaching meditation to incarcerated teenagers in California.

Indigo sees her writing as part of her service mission. In her writing, she combines 25 years of meditation experience with wisdom and skill gained through professional study and practice. Her goal is to use the written medium to effectively guide and support far more readers than she could work with in person, as they navigate their own journey of personal transformation and triumph.

Indigo has lived in many regions of the world, including New York, Bali, and Hawaii, and currently calls Northern California home.
