Mark S. Lowenthal

Mark S. Lowenthal, PsyD, has helped many children and their families in his 22 years of experience as a clinical psychologist. He practices in Maplewood, New Jersey, working with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Lowenthal is the co-author of "Smart Parenting for Smart Kids: Nurturing Your Child's True Potential" (Jossey-Bass/Wiley),published in March, 2011. Previously, he served as Director of the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatric Program at Trinitas Hospital, in Elizabeth, NJ. Dr. Lowenthal has been a long-time advocate on behalf of children with mental health issues, helping to shape policy on a state and local level. He and his wife, a pediatrician, have two children.
