Anthony Gardner is an Irish author and journalist based in London. He has written for a wide variety of British, Irish and American magazines and newspapers, including the Sunday Times Magazine, Intelligent Life and Slightly Foxed. He was previously editor of the Royal Society of Literature’s magazine RSL and deputy editor of Harpers & Queen. His first book, The Rivers of Heaven, was described by Selina Hastings as 'An amazing novel, so hauntingly imaginative, so quietly funny, and so wonderfully well written'. His second, Fox, was chosen by Sue Gaisford as her Book of the Year in The Tablet ('sublimely elegant and funny...a tour de force').
