Jacqueline Thea, Ph.D., is a licensed psychotherapist, Guardian/Conservator, former Registered Nurse, Dream Counselor, and Practitioner of Harp Therapy. She trained in Shamanic Studies and After Death Communication.
Thea has spent more than 35 years researching, writing, speaking, living and traveling on sacred quest in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Hawaii, Micronesia, Mexico, Greece, Egypt and France. She discovered a core of eight basic agreements about the afterlife from the ancient spiritual traditions of Egyptian Mythology, Shamanism and Tibetan Buddhism. She learned to walk between worlds where she met lost souls, helped troubled ancestors and found her own redemption.
Jacqueline Thea's radiant and honest memoir: "Thea Spiritual Midwife" relates her many adventures and misadventures. In 2009, she guided her husband, Mitch, through the labyrinthine pathway of death and beyond then discovered new meaning to life after death both for the departed as well as the survivor.
Born in Los Angeles in 1932 as Jacqueline Sanchez, she married three times accepting the names of her husbands--Gomber, Harper and Anagnost. In 1985, Jacqueline chose the name "Thea" as her own to claim the essence of the Greek word "Goddess." She believes all women are goddesses. She has three grown children, four grandchildren, and now lives in Oregon with her three cats.
Thea is currently exploring the Mystery of the Aging Woman, the Circle of Life, and the promise of return for her next book.
