Claire Stibbe

Claire Stibbe writes gripping crime thrillers that blend fast-paced suspense with authentic police detail. Winner of the Page Turner Award and the New Mexico–Arizona Book Award, her Detective Temeke Crime Series has also been nominated for the Best of Independent eBook Awards.

Originally from Bradfield, UK, Claire worked in London before moving to the United States, where she trained with the Albuquerque Police Citizen’s Academy. Her focus on the impact of violence toward women deeply informs the emotion and authenticity praised in her novels.

When she isn’t writing or blogging, Claire can usually be found watching true crime documentaries, revisiting Hitchcock classics, or spending time with her husband, son, and her cat, Edward. She now lives in Utah, where she continues to craft stories about ordinary people in extraordinary (and terrifying) situations.
