I love music, poetry, photography, beading, writing and art… experiencing LIFE to the fullest and making a difference in little ways. As long as I can remember, I have loved music, nature, and sunshine. I studied art at Clark College in Vancouver, WA during the ‘80s and resumed my writing in 1991. By 1993 I had self-published my first book, ONE LIGHT ONE LOVE. By 1995 I had self-published two more books, ANGEL FINGERPRINTS and LONG LONG AGO. I learned Bead Embroidery in Oregon in 1994 and pursued that art form for 22 years as a bead artist and teacher.
In 2018, I discovered the ZENTANGLEŽ Method of drawing created by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts. This practice re-ignited my love of drawing from my childhood. In early 2020, I ventured on my watercolor journey following my love of watercolor that began in my teen years.
Currently I am preparing 3 adult coloring books for publication. In addition, I continue to watercolor illustrate my 5 children’s books (written nearly 25 years ago). My days are filled with creative joy!
