Jacky Gray

Jacky Gray's first career was telecoms and after 23 years writing software, she spent 17 years teaching children, occasionally introducing them to the joy of maths. Teaching is now ancient history - a bit like the books she writes. Well, some of them.

The six series have quite disparate genres, but all bristle with humour as "endearing, complex characters" face their trials with courage, honour and integrity.

Time Doctors – a fun mix of Time Travel and Dungeons & Dragons Adventure

Calamity Chicks – feisty 70s girls in trouble

Bryant Rockwell – contemporary YA

Hengist Saga (linking the next 3 series):

Nature's Tribe – Medieval fantasy

Hengist: People of the Horse – Medieval-alternate-world fantasy

Colour of Light – contemporary adventure

Jacky lives in the English Midlands with her husband. She enjoys all live entertainment, watches a lot of movies/TV shows like Big Bang Theory, GoT, all the Marvel stuff, and anything by Taylor Sheridan. She listens to a lot of Journey and Queen and reads (apologies to the adverb police) voraciously.
