With over thirty-five years of experience, Jerry’s work and travels as a Leadership Coach, Pastor, and Consultant to non-profit aid organizations has spanned seventy countries, 100 denominations, and countless spiritual seekers across the globe. His travels include visiting many of the great wine regions of the world.
Jerry’s fascination and passion for wine developed while living in Oregon wine country in the early seventies and eighties. His interest in wine and his background in biblical studies and theology came together in what he calls Enotheology. Enotheology combines enology—the science of wine and winemaking with theology—the study of God, the attributes of God, and the Divine relationship to the universe. “Wine is a gift from God to be enjoyed, is the great summation of my study and experience,” says the author. “Wine cheers both God and human,” and “gladdens the heart of all.”
Jerry and his wife Sherry live in Texas Hill Country close by to the expanding world of Texas wine and wineries. Wine & Spirit: A Christian’s Guide to Enjoying Wine is his first book.
