Judy Light

Judy Light currently lives in Stockton, California. She was born in the South, and grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkanasas. She still has her southern accent. She wrote Southern Days Southern Ways as a tribute to her family since she is the last surviving member of her initial family. The books Southern Days Southern Ways and Kid Sister were written from the heart, filled with memories, happy times and sad moments. Typical of anyone's life, life has a way of bringing family member together, moving them apart and then as situations happen, moving you back together. There is laughter, an ancestral time line and a feeling that you are there with her on one of her very descriptive visits to her family, her hometown and her heart.

Judy enjoys teaching art in the Lincoln Unified Afterschool Program in Stockton, California. She is a talented artist and writer. She is a mother of three young men, Jeff, Shawn and Nicholas and now a blessed grandmother of little Katie.
