Ron Benson

Ron Benson is a husband, father, writer, speaker, and pastor. Ron has been published in Light and Life Magazine (July/August 2003, reprinted for the Asbury Online Seminary), The Door (July/August 2003), The Bible Advocate (January/February 2004), Discipleship Journal (July/August 2004), Leadership Journal (Summer 2004), and Today's Christian (Sept/Oct 2005). In addition, The Plain Truth Magazine has published many of Ron's articles.

Ron worked with Mike Gottfried, former NCAA football coach and present ESPN announcer, to write a book about the needs of fatherless boys and how to meet them. Mike's book, Coach’s Challenge: Faith, Football, and Filling the Father Gap, was released by Howard Publishing, a division of Simon and Schuster, in September, 2007.

As a pastor, Ron has served congregations full time for over twenty years. He lead congregations in Southern California and in metropolitan Detroit, and now is the Senior Pastor of Grace Christian Fellowship in Bay City, Michigan. As a "P.K." (Preacher's Kid), he spent the majority of his life within spitting distance of a church. Ron knows how to take careful aim at the church without being careless.
