The Elephant and Macaw Banner is unlike anything you've read before. "The Fortuitous Meeting", the story that started it all, was a 2011 Nebula Award finalist. The accuracy, depth, and quality of this series has led to its adoption in hundreds of classrooms.

Christopher has been nominated for multiple awards, including the Nebula Award (finalist), the CLFC Argos Award (finalist), The Realms of Fantasy Reader Award (winner), The Camara Riograndense "Friend of the Book" award (winner), the Argos Award for best Brazilian SF/Fantasy (finalist) and the AGES Book of the Year Award (finalist).

Christopher has worked in the entertainment industry for over two decades, first as director of his own video game studio, then as a Creative Director at Ubisoft, and finally as a scriptwriter for various media. His games, comics, books, and TV shows have been enjoyed by millions.

Born in Texas, Christopher now lives in Porto Alegre, Brazil, with his wife Fernanda and son Lynx. He has a bachelor's degree from Rice University and a master's degree from PUCRS. He currently works as a professor at UniRitter University, teaching scriptwriting and video game production. He is one of the founders and organizers of the Fantastic Literature Odyssey, Brazil“s largest speculative fiction convention.
