Hildy Silverman

Hildy Silverman graduated from Brandeis University, with Honors in their Creative Writing track. She had the pleasure of working with advisers Sue Miller, Jayne Anne Phillips, Jay Cantor, and Geoffrey Wolff. She writes primarily genre fiction (science fiction, fantasy, horror and mystery), including the short stories appearing in the anthologies listed on this page. Her story, "The Six Million Dollar Mermaid," was a 2015 finalist for the WSFA Small Press Award.

In 2005, Hildy became the publisher and editor-in-chief of Space and Time (www.spaceandtimemagazine.com), which she ran for 12 years. She is also a past president of the Garden State Speculative Fiction Writers and a frequent panelist on the science fiction convention circuit.
