I really don't feel comfortable writing about myself in the third person, so I won't.

I live in Sheffield in England, and I have spent over sixteen years working as a secondary English teacher. I love to write dramatic, hard-hitting contemporary fiction, and am honoured and delighted that my books are studied in schools internationally. So far, I have published four novels for Young Adult and New Adult readers, which are:
