My initial intention for writing Sweet Lucidity was to immortalize a dear friend, and to tell a love story that was born from that friendship. However, the story blossomed beyond my expectations, and thousands of fans demanded more. Sweet Lucidity is more than a love story, it exposes the darkness that haunts humanity, and explores the fascination with immortality. Even in fantasy, a life immortal is not a guarantee. My deepest desire is for readers to not only love my work, but for my words to get under their skin and haunt their dreams.

About the Author

Melissa Bond lives in West Texas, where the land is flat, and the sunsets are spectacular. She is a passionate advocate for raising standards in medical care, fueled by watching her mother and grandmother fight cancer, and her own fight against Multiple Sclerosis. To escape the cruel reality our bodies are fallible, Bond has created worlds of fantasy, intrigue, and dramatic suspense.

When she is not writing, she is an active artist and photographer, as well as a miniaturist.

Her confessed hobbies include being a bibliophile, film geek, genealogy buff, world traveler, second language acquisition conqueror, and wannabe bakery owner. She is deeply devoted to her readers, never letting a letter go unanswered.
