Dot Hatfield

Dot Hatfield is a writer living in Central Arkansas. After working for 25 years in various social service agencies serving children, special needs adults and victims of crime, she began writing in 2000.

Dot has written for the Nashville Tennessean, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, The Upper Room, Mature Living, Evangel, Church Educator and Ministry Now Magazine.

Dot's newest novel, Worth the Candle, was published in January 2019. Her previous books include the novels An Ordinary Day, To Find a Home, and The Last to Know. She has also published a collection of award-winning short stories called Every Day A New Day; and the one-act play RIP Emma Lou Briggs.
