Chaise LaDousa

Chaise LaDousa is Professor of Anthropology at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. He received his AB from the University of Chicago and his PhD from Syracuse University. He came to Hamilton College in 2006 from Southern Connecticut State University. He has published many articles on his field research in northern India on the politics of language and schooling. His book, House Signs and Collegiate Fun, emerges from a second research project, conducted with students at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he had his first academic job. He lives with his partner in Utica, New York.
