Lee Stuart

Lee Stuart is Native American from the Sappony tribe in the North Carolina and Virgina area. He was a career Army officer who retired in 2002 after 32 years of service. In 1996 he was shot at point blank range during an armed robbery attempt when Boomer his Black Lab came to his rescue and ran the robbers away before they could shoot him a second time. Lee and Boomer were partners for 16 years. In 2004 Boomer was selected as the Animal Planet Top Dog of the Year in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon Boomer's passing in 2006 Lee decided to write his memoirs of Boomer's heroic deeds.

Lee was recently interviewed about the book on Fox & Friends by Juliet Huddy on the 31st of December 2010.
