Janna DeVore

Janna DeVore is an editor, writer, and food enthusiast. She received her degree in journalism from Brigham Young University in 1997 and worked as an editor at a small publishing house in Salt Lake City, Utah, for nearly a decade before starting her own editing and writing shop out of her home. She began experimenting in the kitchen at age eight, with the help of her mom and her local 4H group. She has edited dozens of cookbooks and is excited to be on the other side of the desk this time—even though writing a cookbook is much harder on the waistline than editing one. Janna and her husband, an officer in the United States Air Force, make their home wherever the Air Force sends them. They currently live in San Antonio, Texas, with their 5 children.
