Deborah Landau is the author of five books of poetry, most recently Skeletons, which was a New Yorker "Best Book of 2023." She is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Robert Dana Anhinga Prize for Poetry, and The Believer Book Award. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Poetry, The Atlantic, The Nation, New York Review of Books, The New York Times, and in three editions of The Best American Poetry. She is a Professor at NYU, where she directs the Creative Writing Program, and she lives in Brooklyn.
