An engineer by profession, he started his second innings in journalism in 2008 after 30 years in the energy industry. Thereafter he worked as an editor in nationally circulated publications like The Indian Express and The Delhi Press Magazine. Among his previous books is India Emerging: From Policy Paralysis to Hyper Economics, co-authored with Aarohi Sen, a thought leader and researcher at Accenture, working for over a decade on the impact of digital technologies on large industrial enterprises. The book was published by Bloomsbury India in April 2019 - a book on economic governance during the period 2014-2019 that covered seven sectors of the Indian economy. Besides being part of Accenture’s global industry think tank, Aarohi has contributed to Accenture’s policy papers and global business publications including the HBR and EBR.
