Russell Bishop is the creator of Insight Seminars and a recognized expert in personal and organization transformation. He has 40+ years consulting and operating expertise addressing real world business and personal challenges in both the for-profit as well as the non-profit business world. His consulting, speaking, and coaching work has helped thousands of individuals around the world create balance and success in their personal and professional lives.

He is an internationally regarded speaker, educator, and consultant whose clients include Fortune 500 executives in aerospace, health care, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, information technology, telecommunications and oil and gas. Russell has extensive international experience working in Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America.

As the managing partner of Conscious Living, Russell assists people and organizations create meaningful change aligned with their true purposes in life, integrating the experience of wellbeing with high levels of productivity. Over two million people have benefited from programs designed by Russell. In addition to running his consulting practice, he has served as Editorial Director for the Living section of the Huffington Post and was recruited by Andersen Consulting to help develop their change strategy practice known as Change Navigation.

Professional and Educational Background

Russell holds a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the Davis Campus of the University of California, a Master of Spiritual Science degree from Peace Theological Seminary College of Philosophy as well as an honorary Doctor of Spiritual Science degree.

He has lectured on productivity for the executive MBA programs at UCLA, University of Texas, and Washington University in St. Louis. Russell has served on the Boards of Directors for the University of Santa Monica, Insight Seminars, and was a charter member of the Advisory Board for the Points of Light Foundation.

Russell resides in Santa Barbara, California and is an avid golfer and amateur chef.
