My parents were missionaries working at Batang, on the border between China and Tibet. The title was "Some of God's Children," and it contains the many experiences we and our cousins experienced there. We were stoned once, my young sister was kidnapped in a rickshaw in Chine, my cousin taunted me about my "purple cow."

The second,"The Call to Africa" begins when I was a teen-ager and I met my husband to be at a college basket ball game in Illinois. He was attending Christian a college there. Years later, we sailed with our two young daughters, to work for the Lord in Namibia and South Africa. Those were difficult Apartheid years and this book deals with those experiences and the birth of the rest of our family there.

The next six books are a missionary series of novels about an imaginary mission in Guatemala. These were written after we retired to Texas after working 49 years

in Africa. I, of course,can add the years in China before that.
