Tim Frank

Tim Frank is a Near Eastern archaeologist. He is a staff member of the Lahav Research Project Phase IV archaeological excavations at Tell Halif (Israel). Tim was born in Germany. In his early teenage years the family moved to New Zealand. There he developed a passion for the great outdoors, exploring the mountain areas of New Zealand. After studying Theology (Biblical Studies) his interest in the world of Ancient Israel led him to participate in archaeological excavations in Israel. Starting as a volunteer, he quickly rose to the position of area supervisor. Tim has completed a Master of Arts in Applied Anthropology (Archaeology) at Mississippi State University, USA, and a Doctorate in Theology (Cultural Environment of the Bible) at the University of Bern, Switzerland. "Daughter of Lachish" is his first novel, bringing the world of Ancient Judah alive.
