I have always maintained that I am a common man but because of a farming accident that took my right {dominant} arm, I learned quickly that I must try harder to just accomplish everyday tasks. This attitude of giving extra effort has afforded me accomplishments that could not have been done otherwise.

Also, while trapped in a cotton harvester, I made a solemn promise to God that if it was his will for me to live that I would make every effort to be a good man. To that end, I dedicated myself to volunteer work & presenting a positive attitude daily.

I was a cotton farmer at Roscoe Texas until the age of seventy when, because of the wear & tear on my left arm I turned the farm over to my son. I then wrote two books then later I published three more with an autobiography expected within a couple of months. These books range in subject matter from personal philosophy to rattlesnake hunting.

In 2004 I became involved & committed to the wind energy industry as a landowner. This new dedication resulted in the construction of the largest wind farm on the planet.

I am devoted to my family & volunteer work.
