Gene L. Warner

Gene Warner began life on Michigan's South Manitou Island, the son of a Coast Guardsman and the island schoolteacher, and an ancestor of original settler immigrants. Husband, father, grandfather, engineer, business owner, author, and publisher (BoysMindBooks.Com,) his works include books on nonprofit management, historical narratives, and common sense psychological self-improvement, plus visitor guides, fiction, and personal memoirs.

His most recent offering is "The Cosmics," a view of the spirits among us and the ways that they influence our lives. Works in process include "The Manitou Passage People," a collection of biographical essays on the original settlers and land owners on Michigan's Manitou Islands; and "Home Is Where The Hurt Is," a memoir.
