Deb Simpson writes poetry, fiction and nonfiction. Deb is a former President of the Tennessee Writers Alliance, and an honorary a staff member for The Watertown Gazette. Deb has published five books: Closing The Gate, a Heaven's Gate cult Biography --an UNTOLD story of one member of the cult who took his own life; One Moment, One Memory, One Motion, a poetic memoir; Pink Place, a children's book; Pink Place & Blue Blaze, A Special Edition, Guide to Using Pink Place;

Deb believes that one person can make a difference in the life of another

by simply giving One Moment of their time; One Memory of hope; One Motion of support.

Deb is an advocate for sexual abuse survivors, and shares her own story of sexual abuse and recovery in her poetic memoir: One Moment, One Memory, One Motion.
