Dalen Garris is a Christian author whose faith-based books and missionary stories have inspired readers around the world to pursue deeper spiritual growth and a renewed passion for Christ. Known for his dedication to Christian revival, Dalen has spent decades sharing the transformative power of evangelism and faith through his inspirational Christian books and Biblical teachings.

His ministry began in 1970 during the Jesus Movement in California and soon expanded globally through a twelve-year international radio broadcast and a widely read newspaper column featuring over 700 articles. Since 2004, he has led a powerful revival ministry across sub-Saharan Africa, preaching in nearly 1,000 churches and witnessing extraordinary moments of salvation and transformation. His experiences on the mission field, marked by faith, courage, and divine encounters, continue to shape his writings and outreach.

As a Christian preacher, Dr. Garris has seen countless lives changed through healing and faith, prayer and miracles, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit revival. His lifelong work in ministry in Africa has fueled remarkable church growth and inspired Christian discipleship rooted in God’s love.

Today, Dalen and his wife of 48 years, Cindy, live in Waxahachie, where he continues to share Christian inspiration and life lessons that encourage believers to walk boldly in faith and kindle the fire of revival in this generation.
