Vance Davis

Vance Aaron Davis, born in Wichita, Kansas, October 14th, 1964. Graduated High School from Valley Center, Kansas in 1983 and proceeded to join the U. S. Army. He served in Fort Meade, Maryland and stints in Bad Aibling, Germany and Augsburg, Germany until 1990. He married his wife of 35 years, Iris in Pensacola, Florida on August 16th, 1990, and moved to Colorado for a short time and ended up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where his two children were born in 1991 and 1993. Chrysalis and Ashton. The family then moved to Mesa, Arizona for a time period until it was decided to move to Wichita, Kansas. He finished his college at Wichita State University with a BA in History. In 2004, he became a co-founder of Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Club along with Gary Lee, his friend and teammate in baseball in High School. The club is still performing at Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita, Kansas. A living, breathing, historical living history museum. His children have married, and he has a grandson and granddaughter that they both like to spoil when possible.
