Henry Wong

Henry brings over two decades of rich experience in the education sector, having worked in various capacities, ranging from Middle School Math Teacher to Admissions/Marketing Manager to Business Administration Director and Co-head. He accepted an instructor position at Tianjin University of Technology in China, where he taught intercultural communications and international trade. His deep understanding of administrative non-teaching functions in international and bilingual schools as a business administration director in Singapore, China, and the US has significantly contributed to enhancing operational efficiencies and community satisfaction.

Born and raised in Singapore, Henry pursued his bachelor’s degree at Biola University in California, majoring in organizational leadership. He then earned his master’s degree in education at Pepperdine University, also in California, and a second MA at Biola University in intercultural studies with an emphasis on international business.

Henry's extensive experience spans managing student bodies ranging in size from 220 to 1,400, demonstrating his capacity to adapt and thrive in diverse educational environments. His strategic vision and dedication to excellence have left an indelible mark on the schools he has been part of, making him a pivotal leader in the education field.

Henry is currently semi-retired in California. He works part-time, coordinating conferences and facilitating training workshops for schools' support and non-teaching staff, conducting forex and stock trading, and offering trading tutoring sessions. During his free time, he works on house projects and gardening. He swims almost every day.
