Michael Green

Michael Green was born in Sevenoaks, England and educated at 'Training Ship Mercury' (arguably at the time, the toughest school in England). It was at Mercury where his passion for writing developed.

After a spell in the British Merchant Navy and several years working as a computer consultant for major British companies he emigrated to New Zealand.

When a planned trip to the UK in 2003 had to be posponed due to the SARS pandemic Michael asked the questions, 'What is going to happen if this outbreak really gets out of control?" "How am I going to protect my myself and my family?"

The answer to those questions became the basis for the 'Blood Line Trilogy' a story based upon an even more virulent disease 'Super-SARS',in which the sole survivors - The Chatfield family (possessing a crucial gene/blood line) - battle to survive.

The first volume 'The Crucial Gene' was published my MGC Ltd and later republished as 'Blood Line' by Random House (NZ) in 2006. Subsequently the novel was translated to German and published as ‘Stunde Null’ by Verlagsgruppe Luebbe, Germany in 2009.

The second volume - 'Blood Bond' was published by Random House NZ in 2009 and again translated to German, and published as ‘Der Jungste Tag’ by Verlagsgruppe Luebbe, Germany

The final part of the trilogy - 'Blood Roots' was published by MGC Ltd, who have also published the e-book versions of all three titles.

Now a full time writer, Micahel Green is based in New Zealand but spends a considerable amount of time travelling.
