Diane Adreon

Dr. Diane Adreon is the founder/director of Spectrum Life Strategies, a private consulting company that specializes in addressing the needs of children, teens and adults living with high-functioning autism spectrum disorders and their families. Dr. Adreon has served as a director of a university-based autism organization serving families and professionals since 1993.

Dr. Adreon provides consultations and trainings throughout the United States and abroad. Dr. Adreon's publications include: Special Considerations for Students with High-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Guide for School Administrators (Adreon & Myles, 2017), Simple Strategies that Work! Helpful Hints for All Educators of Students with High-functioning Autism, Asperger Syndrome, and Related Disabilities (Myles, Adreon, & Gitlitz, 2006), and Asperger Syndrome and Adolescence: Practical Solutions for School Success (Myles & Adreon, 2001), winner of the Autism Society of American Literary Achievement Award. In addition, Dr. Adreon serves on the editorial boards of Focus on Autism and Other Developmental Disorders and Intervention in School & Clinic. She also serves on the advisory boards of several organizations including The College Internship Program (Melbourne, FL), MAAP Services Inc. (Crowne Point, IN), AHANY (Long Island, NY), and The Friendship Circle (Miami, FL).
