LB Sedlacek

LB Sedlacek has had poems and stories published in a wide variety of publications. She is also the author of several collections of poetry including "Unresponsive Sky" published by Purple Unicorn Press, "Words and Bones" published by Finishing Line Press, "The Architect of French Fries" published by Presa Press, "Swim" and "Night Swim" published by Alien Buddha Press, and "Simultaneous Submissions" and "The Poet Next Door" published by Cyberwit Press. She has been nominated two times for the Pushcart Prize. She has also been nominated for Best of the Net in poetry. She has had several short stories and poems published in the literary magazine, "Branches," winning 1st Place Prose awards for her stories "Sight Unseen" and "Backwards Wink." She is also known for her Thomas Wolfe memorial prize nominated mystery book "The Glass River" set in Happy Valley, North Carolina as well as for "The Mailbox of the Kindred Spirit" romance story set at the iconic mailbox off Sunset Beach technically Bird Island. LB also has three short story collections: "The Jackalope Committee and Other Tales," "The Renovator and Motor Addiction," and "Four Thieves of Vinegar & Other Short Stories" all published by Alien Buddha Press. She served as New Media Editor and Poetry Editor for "ESC! Magazine" and co-hosted the small press podcast "Coffee House to Go" with Michael Potter for several years. LB also enjoys swimming and reading.
