Hubert Rodarie

Hubert Rodarie, born in 1955, graduated Ecole Centrale de Paris (1979) and Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (1981). TURGOT-DFCG Special Prize for Financial Directors 2016

With a D.E.A. in soil mechanics and structures, he began his career at the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique and Electricité de France, working on seismic dynamics and engineering subjects in the French nuclear power programme.

Since 1985 he has turned to financial activities, first in the financial markets within Electricité de France and then as CEO of the Union de Garantie et de Placement(UGP).

From 1991 he was CEO of a french asset management company (BTP Investissements).

From 2001 to 2020, he was Deputy CEO of the Insurance Groupe SMA in charge of finance and personal insurance.

He is currently Chairman of the French Association (Af2i) for fort the asset owners Investors .

He is the author of articles on the functioning of the financial markets and of the books "Dettes et monnaie de singe" ed.Paris Salvator 2nd edition 2012, "La pente despotique de l'économie mondiale" ed. Paris Salvator 2015.The latter received in 2016 the special TURGOT-DFCG prize.

He is also the author of "Effacer les dettes publiques c'estpossible et c'est nécésaire", Paris éd.MA- ESKA 2020, "A great reset for the financial system: erase public debt by central banks", ESKA publishing 2021.

He is a founding member of the CHRONOS network.
