Eric Widmer

I am professor at the the Department of Sociology of the University of Geneva. My long-term interests include intimate ties,family and other interpersonal relations, life course research and social networks. Along with others, I have been developing for a decade research on families in a configurational perspective. I am the author of various books related with main issues of family life in late modernity.
