Olivier Costa

Olivier COSTA is a political scientist specialising in European integration, representative democracy and French political life. He is Research Professor at the CNRS, within CEVIPOF, the Centre for Political Research at Sciences Po (Paris).

He is the author of 10 books, has edited 25 collective works and special issues of journals, and has published more than 200 articles and chapters in scientific works.

He teaches European and parliamentary issues at several universities, notably at Sciences Po's School of Public Affairs. He has been a visiting professor in the United States, Brazil and Japan.

He works as an expert for EU institutions, French authorities and various think tanks.

He is deeply committed to disseminating scientific knowledge through numerous conferences and media activities.

In his spare time, he writes columns (under the pseudonym Oscar VILEITO) and designs classic cars.
