Mal Lewis Jones

Mal Lewis Jones is a British children's author of the ballet series CASSIE AT THE BALLET SCHOOL.

Lewis Jones' series of ballet school books were originally published by Hodder Children's Books in the UK and then by Ravensburger in Germany.

Lewis Jones has published other dance books including the six titles in the Dance Club series, originally published by McDonald Young books. She has also adapted The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame, for Hodder and WHSmith. She is also joint co-collator of the classic poetry anthology, Good Night, Sleep Tight which is a collection of 366 poems, one for every night of the year. This was published by Scholastic, and in America by Scholastic Inc.

Mal is married to the author Ivan Jones. Their eldest daughter, Lara Jones, was a children’s illustrator. They have two other children – Levin and Jess.
