Sylvie Gendreau

Sylvie is a creative entrepreneur, a writer (City of Intelligences, School of Desires...), a podcaster (They Make Me Smarter), a blogger (Slow Down to Leap) who helps entrepreneurs and leaders create businesses that thrive. In all her projects, you find creativity, innovation, design thinking, storytelling and collective intelligence. She explores ludic and poetic modes of communication as well as efficient use of technologies to help communities to co-learn how to build a better future in a participatory culture.

She also teaches creativity and innovation to Ph.D. candidates at Polytechnique Montreal and leads creative labs to stimulate collective creativity to contribute to smarter and more sensitive cities. She is one of the co-founders of the New School of Creativity, a school without walls, developing innovative learning experiences based on emotional intelligence and neuroscience.

Her essay, City of Intelligences, won the first prize, in 2001, from the Paris RH & Management Review.
