Raphaël Baroni

Raphaël Baroni is associate professor at the University of Lausanne. He has published several works in the field of narrative theory: La tension narrative (Seuil, 2007, trans. in Mandarin in 2020), L'œuvre du temps (Seuil, 2009) and Les rouages de l'intrigue (Slatkine, 2017, trans. in Italian in 2020) and Lire Houellebecq (Slatkine, 2022). He has also edited several collective works, including Introduction à l'étude des cultures numériques (Armand Colin, 2020), Le savoir des genres (PUR, 2007) and Narrative Sequence in Contemporary Narratology (Ohio State University Press, 2016). In addition to his research activities, he has published a collection of short stories: Les villes englouties (Antipode, 2011).
