Jina Bacarr

Jina Bacarr has loved the world of dolls since she was a little girl and is proud of her collection. She designed and sewed costumes for her fairy tale doll now carefully packed away in her ballet hatbox. Here she is in the author photo with Pola, a sawdust doll circa 1940s. Pola is a major character in ‘Flight of the Stolen Children’ releasing in December 2026.

Jina attended 15 schools before university to study languages (French and German) and found her calling as an historical fiction author for Boldwood Books. She writes about amazing women in Occupied Paris World War 2... stories of survival, courage, espionage, saving children, and of course, love.
