Jina Bacarr

Jina Bacarr won a poetry award in eighth grade about a lonesome cowboy that started her wild journey into thinking 'I can do this'. She's written travel articles and educational materials and nonfiction books as well as fiction. She went to 15 schools before university to study languages (French and German). She loves to travel, the Impressionists, and marshmallow chocolate anything. She also learned Italian while living in Pisa and speaks decent Spanish and studied Japanese with a language school sensei (teacher) and is proud to show her 'graduation certificate' to anyone who asks. She's an historical fiction author for Boldwood Books and writes Paris World War 2 stories of survival, courage, espionage, saving the children, and of course, love.

JIna loves to indulge in dark chocolate truffles when she finishes a book and spend rainy days in museums. She adores Paris and Versailles and Venice and pizza and she's also a Titanic enthusiast.
