Marcel Burger

Marcel Burger is a professor of discourse analysis at the University of Lausanne. He leads the Center of Language and Communication sciences. His main domains of interest include public, political and media discourse analysis. He focuses on the construction of identities on social media and journalism practices.

Marcel Burger is also a poet, rock musician, and publisher, as well known as Stepnjak Butler. His poetry is about 'intimacy and the sensitive world of visible and invisible dialogues’. He lives in Geneva.
