P. J. Hafner is a St. Paul, Minnesota native. Both an angler and bow hunter, he also spent 15 years as a wrestler and judo fighter, and is a repeat participant in the Twin Cities marathon and other running races. He's hiked in the Blue Ridge, Cascade, and Rocky Mountains, as well as in Switzerland and Iceland.
Hafner holds degrees in Kinesiology and English. He is also the author of the nonfiction titles "Injury Afoot" (for plantar fasciitis rehab), "Achilles Healing" (for Achilles tendinitis rehab), "The Iliotibial Band Syndrome Manual," and "The Ounces Countdown Weight Loss Approach."
The last several years have found him living all over the U.S., and those adventures along with his time running, grappling, trudging, snowshoeing, and battling mosquitoes in his home state carry over into the action novels of the "Stalk" series.
