Philippe Forêt

My interests include cultural and environmental issues in global China. I lead several international team projects in the environmental humanities. I am completing a book ms on the history of the discovery of climate change in colonial Asia, and editing another book on the transition from collapse to post-collapse in the Anthropocene. Finally, with colleagues from the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich, I run the program in the environmental humanities of the Swiss academy of environmental sciences.
