Mimi Thebo

Mimi Thebo is a Carnegie-nominated author for children and adults. Her work has been translated into 12 languages, made into a BAFTA award-winning film by the BBC and signed for deaf children by ITV. Her work carries messages of hope, resilience and recovery and her writing has been called, 'spare but poetic' and 'heartbreakingly beautiful'.

Born in the USA, Mimi has lived in the UK for many years. She is an Associate Professor of Creative Writing and a Royal Literary Fellow.
