Raphaël Aubert

Raphaël Aubert is the author of some twenty books, including novels, La Bataille de San Romano (L'Aire bleue, 2006), La Terrasse des éléphants (L'Aire bleue, 2015), Only one soul on earth (Buchet Chastel, 2022) and essays, in particular Le Paradoxe Balthus (La difference, 2005), Malraux and Picasso (Infolio, 2013), Le Voyage à Paris. A notebook by Pierre Aubert (art&fiction, 2017). He is also one of the contributors to the Malraux Dictionary (CNRS, 2011). Raphaël Aubert received the Vaud State Literature Prize in 2014 and, in 2015, he was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. He lives in Lausanne and in the South of France.
