Jem Vanston

Jem Vanston is a former college teacher who now runs his own editing and proofreading agency as a solopreneur.

He has been a freelance journalist, with pieces published in magazines such as Your Cat and The Cat, TNT/Southern Cross, The Prague Post, The Guardian and other publications. He is also an occasional film producer.

An award-winning author, he has published ten books, from satirical novels, short stories and poetry, to children's books and cat stories, as both Jem Vanston and PJ Vanston. He's a screenwriter, radio drama writer and published songwriter too.

Born and brought up near London in Kent, he now lives in Swansea with his two rescue cats, Honey and Bumble, who do their best to distract him from writing - or getting anything else productive done - whenever and however they can.
