Chris Cozen

Chris Cozen is a self-taught mixed media artist who lives and works primarily in Southern California. Originally trained as an educator, Art is a second career for Chris. She was a member of the WORKING ARTIST team at Golden Artist Colors, Inc., manufacturers of artist acrylics and products, for 8 years and is currently one of Golden's Artist Educators.. Chris enjoys the process of exploring the many art materials available today and is an advocate for experimentation and innovation when it comes to what materials can do! Students from all of the world participate in their innovative and lively classes covering everything from Color to Texture to Collage, Mixed Media and Glazing techniques. Chris and Julie's 2013: Acrylic Solutions: Exploring Mixed Media Layer by Layer has become a "must have" book in mixed media circles.
