I am a writer of historical romance, primarily for Teen readers but hopefully also to be enjoyed by anyone who loves stories set in the past. I have a doctorate in literature from Oxford University and think researching a large part of the fun for writing historical fiction. I have visited Tudor houses, attended jousts and eaten Elizabethan banquets to get the sights, sounds and tastes right for this book. And, yes, I can testify that it is possible to eat neatly without the modern invention of the fork. I live in Oxford, UK, a city full of history, and am married with three children.
