Tim Swoboda
During a routine flight Todd was forced to crash-land his time portal. A planetary conjunction created a ripple in the time-space continuum sending him back 100 years into the past. Just before the crash Todd was able to retrieve his positioning and date from his instruments.
It was the year 1962 that found Todd stranded on the third planet in the solar system. It was impossible for him to return to his own time and planet because the portal had been destroyed in the crash. Todd was fortunate though because he crashed in the backyard of the Swoboda family. He explained to them that he was a time traveler and needed their help. They made him a member of the family and christened him with a new name. Todd liked these people so much that he decided to live with them. He combined the name that they gave him with his own and from that day on he was called Tim Todd Swoboda.
In order to blend in undetected he became a photographer. His career choice gave him the ability to study the inhabitants of the Earth. He worked 12 years as the chief photojournalist at a daily newspaper. During his leadership Swoboda led his team of photographers to winning the Wisconsin Newspaper Association, 1st place photography award for overall photography for a newspaper in its class, and the Wisconsin Newspaper Association, 2nd place, photography award for overall photography for a newspaper in its class. He also received the Autism Society of Wisconsin’s award of photographic excellence.
In 2006, he left the newspaper and built a small commercial photo studio. Some of Swoboda’s clients include Corporate Report Wisconsin Magazine, Midwest Business Media, Harcourt School Publishers, The Gannett Corporation, Fisher Hamilton Industries, People Magazine, and Creative Co-Op Advertising.
In 2009 he started writing fictional stories. His first full-length work of fiction entitled “Purgatory’s Court” will be released soon on Amazon.com. His second work, a short-story entitled “The Keeper” is already available on Amazon in Kindle format and will also be available in paperback format.
