Darren Stein was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1973, and after meeting his Aussie wife, Rikki, immigrated to Australia in 1996. He teaches English and the vicissitudes of life at a high school on Sydney's North Shore. His art, short stories and poetry have been widely published, with some of his recent work appearing in Quadrant, Going Down Swinging, CultureCult Magazine, Foreign Literary Journal, and Madness Heart Press.
Darren has published three anthologies. His first, "Storage Space: A Collection of Contemporary Poetry" was published by XLibris in 1998; his second, "The Nut House Poems", was released by Red Dashboard Publishing in 2014, and his most recent, "Stop All the Clocks", published by Midnight Sparrow Press in 2022.
